The information summarizes the main features of the UFCW Union Pension Plan (the Plan) for eligible Canada Safeway employees only. It does not create nor confer any rights to benefits. Not every detail can be contained in a summary such as this. In the event of any discrepancy or misunderstanding, benefits will be determined and paid according to the official Plan documents and the applicable legislation.

The glossary will help you understand the pension terms used.

In addition, you will receive an annual statement from the Plan Administrator that provides a record of your benefit entitlements under the Plan. You should keep these statements for your own records.
